Story and photography by: Bailey Garrot
I had the unique pleasure of photographing the first ever all-women motorcycle voyage down the deep, twisting roads of the Nantahala National Forest. Roughly 50 ladies sputtered in from all over the southeast- plus one iron-ass from Arizona-to ride together into No Man's Land.
The diverse bikes and unique personalities were abundant as we ate, drank, exchanged stories, mingled, stargazed, swam and danced with locals; but most memorably we cruised the winding roads in a sacred landscape.
Thanks for the good times!
Got to give a shout out to the groups that did the damn thing, and to the creators, Jamie Sheard and Abby Whisenant: The Litas (Charlotte), Litas (Richmond), Hellcats (Nashville), Lady Fingers (Atlanta), and The Vagabroads (Chattanooga).
