Before Brandon “Turnkey” Turner got his hands on this old Honda CX it had seen better days. The Plastic Maggot was starting to live up to it’s nickname as it slowly decayed into oblivion.
Turnkey pulled the engine out of the frame to remove any of the pestilence the Maggot had encountered from its years of sitting undisturbed. The engine was gone over and restored back to proper functioning order and the frame has been blasted with a special blend of poly paint. The reassembled engine and chopped frame was then made complete with a set of perfectly tuned carbs from the master of CX himself, Murray.
The Plastic Maggot was reborn as our very first Brother bike; unimaginatively renamed the CX1 to remove any reminder of it’s rotting past. This city scrambler is reborn ready to handle any of the pot-holes our great city has to throw at it, and even a few of the gnarliest trails.
